Berg & Ström’s main focus is developing computer systems for auto dismantlers, with work grounded in solid expertise and industry experience since 1984. The result of this work is Fenix, a system used today by 100 dismantling companies. From the very start, and for nearly 40 years, development has taken place in close collaboration with users. Through strategic work with users and selected development groups, the system is adapted and evolved. We also host regular development meetings that give us deep insight into how the system works and how it can improve.
Berg & Ström has for 10 years been a subsidiary of Lagagruppen AB. The other owners are Bego IT AB and Volvo Car Retail AB, which enables an even stronger investment in the continued development of Fenix — an important task given the tougher requirements for profitability, environmental reporting and producer responsibility ahead.
Berg & Ström, with its head office in Motala and an office in Habo, is responsible for system development, custom adaptations and customer support. As customers are widely spread, most contact and support takes place by phone and remote control.
Today we are 12 employees and expect strong growth in the coming years.
